“Remember, you can make a difference.”

-John Walsh

America’s Most Wanted, has made a comeback to the FOX network with not only a new season and new host, but a refreshed look and advanced broadcast technology.

We all grew up watching America’s Most Wanted. It ran for 24 seasons and became a household name across America long before the search engines of the world arrived. We took that show serious because it was real. There were real criminals out there, and just maybe you could help.

When we heard they were bringing the show back, we took that pretty serious too. We secured the lighting job and went right to work.

There will be no lurking predators on set as the gentle tones give the viewer a depth of background. Because the host will be moving around the set, we emphasized the raised floor lighting and transitions. Once the lights hit the main floor, there’s no place to go but up.

The overall look is one of a serious newsroom where information is key. The dramatic lighting sets the stage for the high-tech workspace and complements the show’s use of augmented reality and 3D life-size avatars.
